A Silent Voice

I started off 2017 watching Your Name and it ended up being one of my absolute favorite anime movies! This year I wanted to do something similar, so I began the year with watching another movie I’ve wanted to watch for a while; A Silent Voice or Koe no Katachi if you want.

I’ve read over half the manga, so I was curious to see how this would turn out. And I was  plesantly surprised! Beyond the fact that the artwork is amazingly beautiful, the story is so touching and brings forth a lot of emotions. Some people change, some people don’t. Relatable or not, this is a story you should watch!

O.M.G. It’s back!

I think OMG or ‘hnnng’ it’s the best sound I can make at the moment. Oh my god, I am so stoked, you wouldn’t believe it! I don’t really know why either, I’m just looking forward to the continuation. I wanna know everything! As soon I get some spare time I’ll probably re-watch the first season just to catch up with the details.

From the new opening titles!

“Happy New Year!”

Haha! That’s the title of my latest abandoned draft. Soo yeah, I tried to write that, like, 2nd of January or something? Oh well, better late than never!

Started off the new year by doing absolutely nothing. Almost. Just cleaned up after the New Year’s Eve gathering and then found my favorite spot on the couch; Reading books and watching movies and TV-series. Also been finishing my bedroom (moved to a new flat not to long ago – before Christmas though). So everything is beginning to look good.

Well, two months later and a lot of stuff is going on – school, school and more school! There are projects everywhere at the moment, so a lot of stress, but a bit later on a lot of fun to look back at. And not to mention, so much I get to learn from all this.

Back to the main point of my original draft: The first movie I watched this year was Kimi no Na wa – Your Name! It is directed by Makoto Shinkai, also known for The Garden of Words,  5 Centimeters Per Second and Voices of a Distant Star etc. If you like these, you will definitely like this one as well. Visually it is stunning, and the story itself is, I think, really original as well. I watched the movie online, but in two months time this will air in the cinemas in Norway! So when that happens I’m gonna watch it again!

What is my life..

In good tradition, exams closing in, much to do, and yet I binge watch anime. Yet again.

I will have to say I don’t really envy the people that had to wait every single week to watch the updates of Naruto Shippuuden.. I am currently watching the 375th episode and I find it so incredibly exciting! With only 62 episodes left – at the moment – I am wondering how I am gonna do when I close that gap. If I couldn’t watch the next episode I would probably lie around crying somewhere.

Still, kudos to my friend who actually tried making me watch it, like eight years ago(!). I kinda understand your pain, but how (HOW) did you manage eight years of waiting?!

I’m not especially looking forward to it, though I want it to end, so I can get a closure.

Haikyū!!

… I just finished watching Haikyū!!, and now I feel really empty ._. I found this during my summer vacation, and since then I’ve been waiting eagerly for every sunday morning. And now it’s all over (for now that is)!? I am at least hoping for another season, so while I’m crossing my fingers for more anime, I think I’m going to read the manga. Oh well.. One more show to add to my anime list. An yet I’ve now added, probably, 30 more anime’s I wanna chech out! This might take a while!

So long ~
