Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness!

I finally got a hold of this game! I probably got the first game, Pokémon Colosseum, at the age of 12 or something. And since then I knew there were a sequel, but I never got that for my birthday. Since both of my parents thought I was to old for Pokémon stuff.. Oh well, 14 years later and I am still not to old!

Anyways, I’ve searched all over for quite some time now, and if I were to buy the game online in Scandinavia, there were severel things to look out for.. First off, If I was going to buy it online, the prices are insanely high.. 2400NOK?! (about £223 of $293) That’s actually not worth it for me. Secondly, I could easily get it from ebay or Amazon or something, but then i wouldn’t trust the seller enough (some online trust issues there) or the fact that it may not run on my European GameCube.

And here I am, after a holiday in London, where we happened to pop by the Film and Comic con, and after some looking I finally saw it, on one of the higher shelves of the rare games. After a decade I finally have a copy of Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. And I love it.

A travel map!

Everybody who knows me knows very well that I like to make list and have journals of stuff I have done. And quite recently I found that I don’t have a sort of journal or log of my travels! Before secondary school I really didn’t travel much around. Neither one of my parents are very fond of flying, so holidays were limited to destinations you could reach by car (preferably in a few hours).

Then after turning 14, the marching band I was in started traveling abroad every 3rd year or so. Then it all began. First off was the festival in Scarborough, then during our last year in secondary school we drove by bus to Poland, through Germany. Then during high school I joined this project which allowed us to travel to Ireland to meet up with several other countries as well. From here on I also joined the rest of the family on their summer vacations, and now, a lot later, I realize that through the past 10 years I’ve actually traveled quite a lot!

So here I am, still trying to find the perfect way to log my travels, and for now, this will have to do.

A Silent Voice

I started off 2017 watching Your Name and it ended up being one of my absolute favorite anime movies! This year I wanted to do something similar, so I began the year with watching another movie I’ve wanted to watch for a while; A Silent Voice or Koe no Katachi if you want.

I’ve read over half the manga, so I was curious to see how this would turn out. And I was  plesantly surprised! Beyond the fact that the artwork is amazingly beautiful, the story is so touching and brings forth a lot of emotions. Some people change, some people don’t. Relatable or not, this is a story you should watch!

Winter is coming!

Literally, and not in terms of Game of Thrones this time. The first snow made its arrival last week, but melted after a couple of days. Luckily, because I didn’t have my snow tires yet. But now I do, so now I’m ready for winter! And that could be any time from now on, probably from next week already. Then again, autumn is pretty amazing when the sun is out, and all the colors are swirling through the wind~

Attack on Titan season 2

… is finally over?! That was fast. Way too fast!

Luckily, if I can say so, the next season is already announced to air in 2018. So hopefully we don’t have to wait for several years this time around.

THERE IS SO MANY QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERS
(because I haven’t read the manga yet, so hush).

In the meantime I guess I just have to watch something else.

O.M.G. It’s back!

I think OMG or ‘hnnng’ it’s the best sound I can make at the moment. Oh my god, I am so stoked, you wouldn’t believe it! I don’t really know why either, I’m just looking forward to the continuation. I wanna know everything! As soon I get some spare time I’ll probably re-watch the first season just to catch up with the details.

From the new opening titles!

A “new” Netflix Original

I just saw the trailer of a new upcoming (August) Netflix Original Movie. It left my mouth hanging, and I don’t know if I liked the news or not, yet. They announced a new movie based on the ever so famous phenomena Death Note! Personally, I really like both the manga and the anime. I haven’t yet watched the Japanese live action movies because I’m afraid I won’t like them.. or that I’ll be really disappointed.

Anyways, I guess I’ll just have to wait through the summer, and maybe I will change my mind? Who knows. Something tells me that I probably will check it out sooner or later! Until then I don’t know what to think, really.

What is my life..

In good tradition, exams closing in, much to do, and yet I binge watch anime. Yet again.

I will have to say I don’t really envy the people that had to wait every single week to watch the updates of Naruto Shippuuden.. I am currently watching the 375th episode and I find it so incredibly exciting! With only 62 episodes left – at the moment – I am wondering how I am gonna do when I close that gap. If I couldn’t watch the next episode I would probably lie around crying somewhere.

Still, kudos to my friend who actually tried making me watch it, like eight years ago(!). I kinda understand your pain, but how (HOW) did you manage eight years of waiting?!

I’m not especially looking forward to it, though I want it to end, so I can get a closure.

Closure, where are you?

Oh well. As you may, or may not, know I watch a lot of anime. When I got the time that is. And I have way to much to watch… I always have this “I have to finish what I’ve started” thought in the back of my head, but regularly I start a new anime, and put something else on hold. I really want to finish some of them, but I don’t feel like watching that, so let’s watch something else! You feel me? No? Oh well *sigh*
