The boy who lived

The boy who lived

Have you guessed who yet? Yep, it’s none other than Harry Potter! I’ve been sick for a couple of days and since I’ve been stuck in the sofa, I gladly found my Harry Potter movies. I don’t know how many times I have watched them through the years, but I’m not tired of them. Yet. All the memories that comes along with these movies are awesome, and I want to keep them further.

It is also really fun to watch the people as well as the characters grow up! It all happens so fast!  They were so small in the beginning and at the end some of them are really… hot ^^’

In these couple of days I have watched the six first movies and I really really want to watch the two last ones as well… but my DVD’s aren’t here *sob*
I know I can watch them online… but that’s not the same..

WHY!?

Why are you not on the wall, clock?

I am really struggling to understand why this clock is NOT on that f****** wall! One of my co workers and I were going downstairs to check out for the day, and we found this.. Just like that. It has stopped and nothing is really broken. The hanger on the wall isn’t touced (it’s newly painted and there are no scratches or anything)… It usually hangs in the middle top of this picture.

It could easily be a prank, but we were few people at work and none of us had really been downstairs ^^’ Is this place really haunted? Actually, I wouldn’t really be surprised..

Chess

Chess

When I celebrated my 18th birthday some years ago I got this awesome camera! I’ve wanted one for a long time, and I finally got one. So basically the whole evening was all about taking pictures of everything and everyone I could find.

As usual I didn’t care much about the manual, I just started shooting (after a while I red the manual … since it taught me some basic things *thumbs up*). And I was quite satisfied with this at the moment. It was a random shot with the “auto macro” thingy. I didn’t really look through the mini window either, I believe I was just lucky with this one. At least I liked it, and it’s blue! I am not very good at it, but I like to play once in a while. Just for the fun of it. And it’s actually quite relaxing as well.

Anyone else playing chess?

Five Treasure Island

I remember quite well when I first started to listen to Kpop. It was right after I had my first encounter with Asian drama series: more specific,  the Korean drama You’re Beautiful. Which by the way was amazing! I found it really weird in the beginning. Their way of communication and the language were for me very unfamiliar, but as soon I got used to it, I was captured by the culture, language, music, the actors. Yeah, basically just everything.

After watching the whole show I just Googled (is that even a word, Google/Googled? Whatever..) the actors and discovered that they all were not just actors, but musicians as well. Next stop –> Youtube. Lee Hong Ki especially caught my attention. His voice is just wonderful and angel like, and it didn’t take long before I became a FT Island fan. They were the first Asian band I listened to, and I am still listening a lot to their music. They have so many different songs, so there are many genre options.

When people ask me about my taste in music, I often say “almost everything”. And as soon as I mention the word kpop people just stares at me.. The many reactions I get when I say I listen to Korean music (or Asian music in general) are i.e
“do you really listen to that?”
“why?”
“do you understand it?”
“why listen to it if you don’t understand what they are saying??”
… and so on..

Why should I really care, huh? There are just so many bands outside America and Europa worth listening to! Seriously, you people don’t know what you’re missing out on! As long as I like the music, bands, songs, styles I don’t really care about understanding it all.. Of course it would be fun to know what they are singing about. But still.. that doesn’t stop me from humming/singing/screaming along anyway.

As long I like the music, I will listen to it, and it may be weird to some people and natural for others.
Anyway it’s my choice.Done deal.

Fangirl warning: And by the way.. Lee Hong Ki <3

Dan and Phil

Dan and Phil

..on BBC Radio 1. And that’s how I spend my Sunday evenings between 20:00 and 22:00 o’Clock (or 19:00 – 21:00 which is the original airing time in UK).

It all started when I discovered both of their Youtube channels (Amazingphil and Danisnotonfire) and after watching way to many movies(!).. I found out they have a radio show, and since then I have been a regular listener :3 If you are looking for a show containing good music, fan-wars, callers and great fun, this is the place to be. Not only can you listen to the show, but there is also a camera in the studio, so go visit the BBC Radio 1 home page and watch too!
